Protect the Border Endless Mode Walkthrough
Infinite days. Every shift longer, every night worse, every boss bigger.
Endless Mode is live in the Protect the Border BETA. The official line is the whole design document: infinite days, longer shifts, worse nights, bigger bosses. This page is the how-to-complete guide for a deep run. It is not a second copy of how to survive the night. Read that first. Endless is the same hold with less recovery.
What changes when the mode is Endless
- Days last longer, so sloppy ID work compounds
- Nights hit harder, so ammo math matters on day two, not day ten
- Bosses scale, so a cute starter rifle becomes a liability
- Party stamina matters; a four-officer run dies when two people leave after the first raid
If you want the patch context, use the Endless Mode update note. This walkthrough is about surviving the loop, not about the announcement.
How to play the early days
Treat days 1–2 like a normal shift. Run the ID and trunk order. Bank cash. Do not spend gold on a joke weapon. Buy a class you can aim — see earnable classes — or agree that one player is the Robux frontliner.
The goal of the early days is a clean locker and a shared language. If your party cannot call “face bad” yet, you do not have an Endless problem. You have a booth problem.
Mid-run economy
How to earn cash still applies, but spending rules tighten:
- Ammo and a reliable rifle first
- A night-capable class second
- Luxury passes (Ray Gun, RPG) only when bosses start shrugging off FAMAS
VIP and 2X Cash both double cash and gold. In Endless they are stronger than a single novelty gun because every extra day multiplies them. Compare that on the gamepass value page before you impulse-buy a Minigun you will fire for ten seconds.
How to beat later nights
Reuse the four roles from the night guide: booth, road, overwatch, floater. As bosses grow, overwatch stops being optional. Ghillie Sniper (SVD + Desert Eagle) and the 50 CAL pass exist for this moment. Juggernaut (250 HP, M249 + Desert Eagle) exists to stand where a starter class would fold.
Do not rotate all four people into the shop between waves. One shopper, three guns up. Endless punishes the “we all browse” habit more than any other mode.
Wipe rules that keep the run honest
When you wipe, write down the day number and the first mistake, not the last death. Common first mistakes:
- A skipped face on a long day
- Two officers reloading together
- A chase into the dark
- A bribe animation as the raid started
Then change one loadout on loadouts and queue again. Endless is a practice mode for the booth, not a slot machine. There are no codes that skip you to day twelve.
Party etiquette
Start Endless only when all four people can stay. A random fill who leaves at sunset is a missing road officer. If you must solo, play shorter personal goals: survive night one, then night two. Do not measure yourself against a coordinated clip from another game.
After a personal best
Screenshot the day count. Check the BETA changelog in case a new class shifted the math. Then go back to daylight fundamentals. The officers who go deepest are not the ones with the most passes. They are the ones who still stare at portraits on day eight.
Close this walkthrough when your party can name a spend plan and a night plan before the first car. Endless will still get harder. That is the point of the mode, and it is why the booth is worth learning in the first place.
Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers officers ask after every shift.
Is Endless Mode a separate map?
No. It stretches the same booth loop: longer days, harder nights, bigger bosses.
When should we buy heavy weapons?
When bosses start shrugging off your booth rifles. Economy passes often pay more than a novelty gun.
Can I AFK farm Endless?
Not reliably. Nights require aiming and positions. Scripts that promise AFK belong on the safety page, not in a run.
What day is a good first goal?
Survive night one with roles assigned, then night two with ammo left. Count personal bests after that.
